The key peculiarity of Drag is that the mod is based on the Gene plate manufactured by Gene, and not the DNA common for all vapers. As a result, it has totally different functionality and peculiarities. For instance, the manufacturer claims that this is the fastest mod in the world - only 0.025 seconds passes between the pressing on the Fire button and the current supply to the water tank.
The appearance is a standard rectangular mod-box. The device perfectly fits the hand. The dimensions are 90 х 54 х 24 mm. Initially, the manufacturer offered only a brown and a black inserts but later launched the Drag Resin subseries, in which the black color of the box and a huge variety of inserts in the shape of a coral, tree design, a rainbow, and so on were added.
Variable Volt
Available only after the update of the software to 1.0.0.1. Allows regulating the voltage from 0.5 to 7.5 v with the step of changing 0.1 v.
Variable Watt
From 5 to 157 W with the step of changing 1 W. The plate also allows to flexibly configure the preheating, to be exact, the curve of output, a concrete capacity for each of the 10 seconds. For example, 100W at the first second, 120 at the second one and 75 at the third one. The mod can remember 5 presets of the curve of output.
At the increase of capacity higher than 129W Drag switches from Variable Watt to the so-called Super mode. It’s no different than Variable Watt, but minimum resistance increases from 0.05 ohm до 0.1 О ohm.
The Variable Watt in Drag is “smart” – when a new atomizer is applied, it detects resistance and automatically sets optimal capacity, which can be changed if you want to.
Temperature Control (TC)
From 200 to 600 °F or from 100 to 315 °C with the step of changing equal to 1 degree. The temperature control is possible on nickel, titan and stainless steel, and you can also switch on the TC on nichrome and TCR for a certain metal through the settings with the help of a PC. The temperature resistance coefficient can be set through the mod menu and a PC.
Protection
Drag has full protection set from:
short circuit,
overcharge/overdischarge,
high/low resistance,
high/low voltage,
wrong battery installation,
the plate overheating,
the water tank overheating (the cutoff is on the 10th second, though you can set it earlier),
from the battery imbalance,
the ventilation holes for gas withdrawal from the battery.
